DIONYSOS Winery S.A. was found in Athens 1936, by Asimakis Koutsouros and Stelios Gikas. With a passion for our native varieties of grape, and a vision to create world-class wines, DIONYSOS S.A. today, is a winery that is moving forward. Our experience has taught us that quality is what counts and because of that, we’ ve invested mightily in our modest winery.

Today, DIONYSOS’ partners still are the two families and produces more than 11 million liters of wine annually. This company is one of the biggest wine producers in Greece. The Corinthos wine district, recognized as the most important quality vine growing region in Peloponnesus - Greece, is the home of DIONYSOS Winery S.A. This is where the Mediterranean climate from the south meets the continental winds from the north, creating superb winegrowing conditions to produce fruit forward, lively, temperamental and complex wines.
